Waters Cafe was a renovation of an abandoned retail shop on the main thoroughfare of a lower income neighborhood. The street boasted many boarded up buildings, and this project was intended to be the start of bringing public spaces back to the residents of this neighborhood. The client, an artist, was inspired by bright colors and found materials that allowed the interior of the space to be designed organically throughout the construction process. This project is now a thriving cafe and my proudest project I have had the privilege to be a part of. Check out their Instagram at the provided link!
